    This time let’s talk about your portal into DA; your computer itself

    I forgot to mention this the last time but you should collated references, pictures you can use as a references when drawing. I would go with pictures that are official art, not fan art (I recommend looking at wikis to find them). Where to put of your references? Well I put mine in one big Word Document. Do save ink don’t print your references on paper unless you really have too. You can even make your own references by using you image capture tool on YouTube videos and DVD that you put in your computer (though getting it pause at the right mount can take a bit of time).

    If you’re a traditional artist like me then you’re going to need a scanner if you want to have none of the burly look of just taking a picture of it with cellphone.  Remember each scanner if different, you may have to tinker with the setting to find the setting you think is the best. But remember your art my look one way on your own computer it will look noticed different on other computer.

    You should put all your art and references into one folder on your Desktop. You can use folders inside those folders to organize your art anyway you like. Not only is it easier to summit art on to DA but can be easy to store. You see journals on it, someone’s computer crashed. You can back up that folder along with your whole computer onto an external hard drive, or just back up that one folder to a flash drive. A external hard drive take forever to back everything up but putting the folder on a flash drive is a lot quicker.

    Last thing; make sure you have a good computer security. Sometimes those journals about hacker are not completely false (as I learn recently) If they mess with your blocking list then not only you stop watching that person, everything you faved of theirs is automatically removed of you favorites and vice vires to the person that was block. I will be a pain for you to refav everything of theirs.
